Biography

Roni Deutch, known to television viewers across the country as the "Tax Lady" was born into a large family in Southern California. Growing up, she developed a love and passion for sports, and a competitive spirit. She started setting records at a young age and by the time she was 11 years old, she became the first female in the history of California to play Little League Baseball on an all boy’s team. Roni continued her talent for baseball by attending the University of California at Berkeley, where she played third base on the women’s softball team as a nationally ranked player. It was at college where Roni became interested in the law. She double-majored in Pre-Law and Ethnic Studies and built on her experience by attending Western State University College of Law. In law school, she developed an interest in the ills of the Federal Taxation system and the devastating financial impact it can have on the lives of those who become indebted to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This awareness spurred her to become the president of the student tax association and to advance in her studies in law school to obtain an advanced LL.M. degree (Latin for Legum Magister) or Master of Laws.

After she finished law school, Roni Deutch had a desire to help the millions of Americans in this country who need help with their IRS back tax liabilities. With huge amounts of student debt to her name, Roni Deutch opened up the Law Offices of Roni Deutch from a small one bedroom condo in West Sacramento, California over seventeen years ago. Saving pennies and maxing out her credit cards she put ads on television offering her tax services, with her first commercials airing on the noon news in Sacramento.

Roni opened her law firm nearly seventeen years ago. Now known as Roni Lynn Deutch, A Professional Tax Corporation, her firm is the largest tax resolution law firm in the nation.
